  • Bay window: Go for the space which is near a bay window. You can have that as a seating as minimal number of chairs. You can also build in closet beneath the bay window where you can store your cutleries.
  • Neutral Colors: Not a big fan of bright colors? Then, you can pep up your dining room and not make it too boring. Rich browns, whites, and subtle oranges can create a great look. Allow the natural light to stream in and add some artificial plants around.
  • Style & Save: Spend intelligently. You can buy a paper lantern which adds a cozy effect instead of an expensive chandelier. It also adds a unique style to your room.
  • Pop Colors: Like highlighting your favorite yellow? Then choose a clean grey over the walls, floor, and window and simply add a bright yellow chair. Won’t cost you a lot of space yet makes the room pretty.
  • Durability: With smaller space do not experiment with a lot of materials. Go for the ones which will be long lasting such as oak flooring.
  • Keep it Formal: Although you can’t create an elaborate formal dining room, you can use your space to keep some vintage furniture, old family pictures, or an antique clock or a vase which adds a vintage look.
