Connectivity and transit points
Roadpali’s close proximity to the Mumbai-Pune Highway provides this locality with great connectivity. It is adjacent to Kharghar, allowing for easy commute to several areas in the city. This neighbourhood also lies adjacent to Uran road, which forms a part of National Highway 4 (NH-4). It is about 2 km from the Sion-Panvel Highway, which connects Navi Mumbai to Mumbai. The closest railway station is Kalamboli Railway Station, which lies 3 km away. Trains traveling within and beyond the city and state operate from here. The Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport (NMMT) has recently started a bus service in this area. Bus number 19 plies from Belapur to Kalamboli and passes through Roadpali, providing the much-needed connectivity. Roadpali lies 11 km away from the Navi Mumbai International Airport, and can be accessed via auto-rickshaws or taxi-cabs.

Factors for growth in the past
The rising demand for property in the neighbouring area of Kharghar has led to overpopulation and overuse of land. To meet the growing number of consumers and home-seekers, investors and realtors shifted their interest to the lesser known and relatively pristine vicinity of Roadpali. This shift led to a slew of development projects, residential and infrastructural, providing Roadpali with an impetus for growth. Owing to its relatively new development, most of the properties here are residential complexes with 1, 2, and 3 BHK housing units. Roadpali is still in the beginning stages of growth, and there is a very evident lack of basic civic and social infrastructure. Roads are still being laid, and the existing internal roads are either broken, uneven, or covered in potholes. Electricity and water supply are irregular and scanty. Phone connectivity and network is rudimentary, with the lack of MTNL (Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd.) services, and low signal levels provided by private cell operators. The lack of sufficient public transportation in this area has given auto drivers monopoly, and they take advantage of commuters.
Factors for growth in the future
A metro station has been slated for construction in the area of Taloja, in which Roadpali lies. This station is going to be one of three on Phase-II of Line 1 of the Navi Mumbai Metro, and it will connect Roadpali to the likes of Kalamboli and Khandeshwar. A large number of land developers have started various housing projects in the locality, and with CIDCO’s organised allotment of land parcels as well as careful planning of the layout design, Roadpali is sure to grow leaps and bounds. Upcoming residential projects include Monarch Brookefields, Hi Tech Springfield, Vision Phoenix Heights, Mahaavir Heights, and many others.
