Hey guys, another two areas may also get added to NCR it seems. Urban development minister Kamal Nath has announced that the National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) is planning to include two more districts, Jind and Karnal, to the NCR.. but this is still to be discussed.

If the land transactions are not checked, it would give rise to speculative buying, artificial price-rise, etc, like it happens in Gurgaon. It became a investor-driven market through such speculative buying method. In this regard, experts suggested that having a master plan is very essential. Proper development of infrastructure in well-planned manner is also important and the authorities have to focus on it.

Since Bhiwani, Mahendragarh and Bharatpur are being added to the NCR, the real estate market in all these districts are likely to witness significant growth. It is being said that this change will bring in more affordable housing projects to the NCR region besides which it will also help in the planned development of these cities.

Already there are 16 districts, so now it will be 19 in Delhi-NCR. The area of NCR region is going to expand so wide, it would be approx 45,600 sq km in total now.

Yes, three new districts will be included, they are- Bhiwani and Mahendragarh districts of Haryana, and Bharatpur in Rajasthan. But the decision is taken by NCR planning board. STill cabinet approval is needed.
