Holy Indrayani river flows through the Dehu which later flows through Alandi too. Dehu is a place of Sant Tukaram - well known sant in Maharashtra. Dehu Road Railway Station is an important[by whom?] suburban railway station of Pune Suburban Railway. It is on the Mumbai - Pune Railway route. Other prominent areas situated close to it are Talwade, Moshi, Alandi, Charholi, Dehu Road, Chakan, Vadgaon among others. It is 12.8 km away from Pimpri-Chinchwad while 28.3 km from Pune via Mumbai-Pandharpur Road and Old-Mumbai-Pune Highway.
