10 Tips For Safe Partying on Christmas or New Year Eve

The holiday season is a time for cheer with family and friends. The Christmas or New Year celebrations continue throughout the week making the entire country glitter in lights and magic. In the midst of wild partying, people could do stupid things, things they wouldn’t do normally. When you are planning to go out or partying at home, ensure you have taken enough safety measures.

When you host party or if you are planning to go out ensure your and others safety. Set a limit on how many drinks you are going to have when you drink, and stick to it. Teens or woman who drinks alcohol is more likely to be sexually assaulted. Go to a party with your friends and always leave together.

10 Tips for Safe Partying

  • On Christmas or New Year Eve, everyone likes to go out and have a good time. If you’re going to a club, make sure you meet up with your friends first. Even if you’re going to a house party, it’s best to make sure there are people you know already there before you go alone.
  • Respect each other and the place that you are in. If you are planning partying at home, let your local police know about your party and plan. Seek permission from your neighbors and property manager.
  • People are more prone to accidents when they have been drinking. Stop serving alcohol well before the party is over. If you’re drinking alcohol try to have a few non-alcoholic drinks in between.
  • When going to any type of party or function, don’t go alone. This is really important when it comes to females going out, always stay in groups.
  • Enjoy the music, dance and don’t just stand around drinking. If you leave a party early, let your friends know where you are going.
  • Female or Ladies should Never accept a drink from a stranger. This is extremely important since you may be drinking around tons of people you don’t know in a place you’ve probably never been.
  • Plan to deal with guests who drink too much. Ask someone to be prepared to help you before the party gets rolling. Be prepared for overnight guests.
  • Find out how guests or friends will be going home from your party. Arrange pickup and drop facility for female or ladies safely to and from their home than arranging an unknown cab or driver.
  • Have a plan of what to do if things start to get out of hand. Contact the police if you need to.
  • Plan ahead so that it’s easy to try some of these tips. Drive cautiously because there may be intoxicated drivers on the road, especially after 12am.

Ladies of women must ensure their safety and never accept drinks or lift from strangers. Always decide the party menu according to the guests present. If there is a mixed crowd ranging from the kids to adults, you have to arrange from non-alcoholic to alcoholic drinks and don’t serve alcohol to people who are under 18.Watch out for each other, stay in a group and choose safe, well-lit place. Enjoy your Christmas and New Year party and ensure your and others safety.
