Advent star (Christmas star):
You can either make a new star or decorate an old one. Coloured sheets or news papers can be used to make the advent star. Cut papers in triangular shape as shown in the picture using an old star to get the correct shapes. Glue the triangular pieces together as shown in the picture to form a new advent star. Cover the surface of the new star with polish and trim the uneven edges. You can either have the glossy or the matte polish for the finishing. Lace the edges of the new star with attractive stick lace/glittery stickers. Do not forget to cut tiny patterns on the star (e.g. Star shapes, circles, oval shapes, heart shapes etc).

Snowflake garlands:
Entryways and railings can be decorated with delicate snowflake garlands. Make the snowflake garlands by using white paper doilies (Circle shaped paper cutouts, available at stationery stores). Fold each doily into 8and draw a snowflake pattern with a pencil. Cut the snowflake pattern accordingly and attach each doily to a white string to make a garland.

Toilet role Santa:
Take a toilet role and paint the surface with peach colour. Take a piece of cloth from a red woolen fabric and glue it on top of the roll to form a hat. Similarly, glue the red fabric below to form a suit, leaving some space to make the face. Attach a little pom pom to the tip of the hat. Glue whitish cotton on the peachy area to make the face, leaving small space for the eyes and nose. Glue two large eyes from old toys and two large red coloured beads to make his cheeks red and a small bead (black) to make a nose.

Christmas gift tags:
Cut desired shapes of a sturdy fabric into three pieces (for one tag). Glue all the three pieces to form one piece and trim the additional borders. Write/draw your desired patterns with the help of a glitter tube or just cover the entire surface with sparkles with the help of transparent glue. Stickers and glittery patters from the stationery stores can also be used. Make a little hole at the top of the tag and add a colourful little thread which can be tied to the gift box.

Button snowman (tree decorative):
Take a large white button for the body and a small white button for the face. Glue both the buttons on the edge to create a shape of a face and body. Cut small strips of velvet or hard woolen fabric and glue it in between the two buttons to make a scarf. Cut a small hat with the same fabric and paste it above the button to denote a hat. Make sure to cover one button hole on the face with the hat to denote the three holes as a nose and eyes.
