Home decor for the Valentine’s day party:
Add colors: Valentine’s Day represents love. Since the color of love has traditionally been Red, Pink and White, use a brilliant combination of these colors to decorate your house.
- Lighting: Lighting is very important as it brings the perfect ambience and adds a unique charm to the décor. Cover the lampshades at your home with red or pink scarves and light scented white, pink and red candles all over. This is a very trendy style and will give a cozy and welcoming effect.
- Flower Decoration: If it’s Valentine Day we can’t forget roses, so make bouquets of red, white, and pink roses to place them on the dining table, centre table and corners of the living room. Take a vessel, fill it with water and add rose petals to it. Make a heart shaped craft with the flowers to be kept in living room.
- Wall hanging: If you are not running short of time then you can make a collage of family photographs or your best times with your partner. Decorate the collage by adding a sweet little message with every photograph and paste heart shape cuttings to it.
Decorate a tree: Like we have a Christmas tree you can have a valentine tree in your living room. Decorate this tree with red balls, heart shaped candies, pink ornaments, cupid craft, a love note and place gifts for your family members under the tree.
- Ceiling decoration: This will make your decoration unique. Stick and hang heart shaped balloons from the ceiling of your living room. If you have a ceiling lamp or a chandelier, use your scarf or red translucent sheet to make it go with the theme.
For decoration use the material what you already have and buy only few inexpensive items. I’m sure with this décor you will be able to make your home a lover’s paradise.

You can spice up your party with some valentine day games. Try to keep games which are simple to play and loved buy people of all age groups. Here are some games ideas for you.

Gifts for Valentine’s day:
Giving rose to someone special is the traditional way of celebrating Valentine’s Day. So, you can give a rose to your loved ones and if you want to buy them something special, you should give something they need. A card, expressing your love and respect for your parents is the best gift for them. For kids you can go for a personalized band, a new dress or a game. For your spouse, it’s difficult to suggest what to gift, but we can tell you what not, please do not gift any household things to your partner as a valentine day gift. It’s a definite No No!
Food for Valentine’s day party:
Try to keep the menu simple with a varied platter of finger food and one centerpiece item. The finger food items could be cheese ball and crackers, fruit tray, veggie tray, chocolate fountain with items like strawberries and bananas to dip in, heart shaped small sandwiches and cookies.
