For a natural slant towards the east, the western axis must be elevated and for the northern slope, southern direction must be at an elevated level. A west elevated plot with its slope towards the east offers material growth and prosperity.
On the other hand an east elevated plot which has its natural slope towards the west causes loss of wealth and fortune. Plots with their natural slant towards the western and southern axis are also known as Bhoota Veethi meaning bad directional slants. A south elevated plot with its natural slant towards the north signifies growth of wealth while a north elevated plot with its slope towards the south can cause loss of inhabitants and overall grief and sadness.
