Manpada is one of the desired location situated in the northern parts of Thane. It is situated off the NH48. It starts at Ghodbunder Service Road and ends before Patlipada. It comes under Thane Municipal Corporation Limit that takes care of the civic work such as water & electricity, sanitation, road development work, etc. Tikuji Ni Wadi Road and Khewra Cir Marg are the two internal roads which further has its access with NH48. It is 5.6 km away from Ghodbunder Road, 1.7 km from Thane and 24.2 km from Navi Mumbai via NH48. Patlipada, Kolshet, Gawand Baug, Thane West, Majiwada, Hiranandani Estate, Kalher, Kalwa, Kapurbawdi, Naupada, etc are the prominent localities situated close to Manpada. It also has close proximity to Kolshet Industrial Area. Ghodbunder Road serves as a connector between Eastern Express Highway and the Western Express Highway.
