Q: I am a resident of Vijaywada but now settled in Chennai. What is the new waste collection system in the city? I have been hearing a lot about Tenali model of Garbage Disposal. What is this model?

Vijaywada is now starting a new waste disposal system in the city. The earlier system had shown no improvement as garbage used to overflow in the city road. Tenali model of garbage disposal will help in segregating wet and dry waste from the dump yard into different bins. It will help in maintaining more cleanliness in the city. Also people who litter around the city from now on is sure to bare a hefty tariff.
