After long time the Chennai people got relief and the rain pour down. It has sorted the problem of power crisis and the farmers also switched to rain water which helps to save lot of electricity and in households the usage of air-conditioner, fans and other cooling equipments will also go down. The drop in demand has brought a smile in the faces of the people of Chennai as well as it helps the TNEB to cut down on power purchase.
