Q: The Kochi High Court has recently ordered to set up a new sewage plant in the city . How much land is required for the intallation of the plant? Who is going to take up the project?

The Court directed the District Councellor of Ernakulam to set up the sewage plant in Kochi and to implement the project it has to set apart 40 percent of the land. The Court also ordered the District councelor to allot a land and hand over the project to the company within ten days. The Aquakem Engineers Private Limited is going to set up the project at its own cost and after the completion of the plant they will rent it out to the Kochi Corporation.
