Rents increase in Hyderabad.

Q: Recently I have shifted to Hyderabad and took a rented house with an agreement for 11 months with the landlord after paying 2 months advance. The agreement says that it will increase by 10% after a year. I feel 10% is more can any one help me.

I am staying in Hyderabad for past 2 years even I also had an agreement saying that 10% will be increased but after the completion of the year you can negiotiate with your landlord from 3 to 5%. Usually the agreement signed is for 11 mont5hs after that it goes up to 10% from the previous year.
