There are more than 10 lakh houses/flats left unoccupied in Kerala. So the market demand and hence the prices are supposed to be low. But these middlemen exaggerate that there's great demand so the price quoted will be high. They buy at a lesser price and sell at very high price.

Over some period of time middlemen have been controlling the price of land in Kerala. They wont allow genuine buyers and sellers to interact directly. They interfere and sell the properties at higher prices.

Hi Sayanthan, the Kerala real estate is under the control of land mafias. They are responsible for the rising costs of properties in Kerala.
