How do I get in touch with other owners?

Q: I might be interested in renting our apartment but need to know how other owners would feel about that.

Few associations won't allow bachelors to be their tenants, few of them avoid foreigners and there may be restrictions on the number of people staying in an apartment (tenant's family members).... There would also be different rules for tenants using amenities and payment of maintenance, etc.

Hello Dipa, every apartment has different set of rules and regulations.. Some apartments allow the owners to do as they like regarding renting their flat.. And some apartment associations insist that the owners have to take permission before renting out. So it is better to check with your association members.

If you are planning to rent your flat then you can list your Property for Rent at http://www.commonfloor.com/list-property-for-rent to get prospective tenant details.

Hi Dipa, in our apartment if anyone has to rent out his/her flat then there is no need take permissions beforehand. But after renting out they have to inform the association about the new tenant and any required information.
