You are right.. And if you find a tenant also, the rentals would be very low.. And unfortunately if there's any natural calamities, then there will be no point of looking for tenants..
Yes I know.. then why don't you try investing in some other fast developing areas... And not only this, you will have to consider other factors, depending on your requirement, while choosing location.
Even I am feeling the same, as the rates in OMR is already inflated and there are many projects which will complete within couple of years then we will have lot of empty apartments as it will not be easy to find tenants.
This is popularly called as the 'IT Corridor' because this stretch has become home to many IT/ITES companies. The area is well developed and it is easily assessible from the major parts of the city.
We are looking at OMR to buy a flat for us and we feel it is a great location cos of the facilities in this location. Anyways we took a one day - real estate trip on OMR thru Tripcask and decided on a project at Perumbakkam!
