The scenario is like ....hotel bookings in Daman is reducing every year. This is because now people have their own bungalows and fully furnished flats in the town. Developers of Surat feel that the growth in real estate market of Daman became visible in last three when Surtis (Gujarati Muslims) started buying weekend homes here. Few developers feel that investment in Daman will give them two benefits. Firstly, they can enjoy holidays with families, friends and secondly, they can get a permanent resident status too.

Hi Dwarkesh..Nani Daman is one of the fastest growing places in the town. The price of a 100 sq mt land four years ago was around Rs 1 lakh. And now the same piece of land has a price tag of Rs 4 lakh to Rs 5 lakh. An apartment near Nani Daman beach or Devka Beach Road was around Rs 1,100 to Rs 1,200 per sq ft two years back. The same apartment would cost you now approximately in between Rs 1,800 to 1,900 sq ft.

Yes..In the past three years, this port town witnessed around 400 percent growth in the real estate sector. Prices have soared high and many industrialists are investing in residential projects to reap benefits in future and specially the Nani Daman area. Many projects are being launched there.

Hi Balwinder...Earlier, entrepreneurs from Maharashtra and Gujarat spotted this union territory for small scale businesses. As now prices in Mumbai, Surat, etc. are skyrocketing, these entrepreneurs are now shifting their investments in the real estate market of Daman.
