Guys, there is a shortage of 1.13 million housing units in Delhi.. SO now it is high time that the city should focus on more high rises.. Only through this , more houses can be built in less space..
As per municipal law , it is mandatory that the residential buildings in Delhi that came up after 2011 should have stilt car parking space on the ground floor. But then of the four floors, if ground was left for parking then only 3 remained for flats.. this reduced the number of flats in projects..
During the mid-term review of the Master Plan, an advisory committee has recommended that buildings that have a provision of stilt parking should be allowed to go up to 17.5 metres.. current limit is 15 mtrs..
