Hello Richa,

Latest news about Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is that they are planning to run trains at a higher average speed of 40-45 km per hour on the approved extension from Noida City Centre to Bodaki village. The line , which will run along the Noida-Greater Noida expressway, is slated to be completed by 2017, DMRC officials said.

Well Richa, the metro will start from the now existing city centre station and cover sectors 50, 51, 78, 101, 81, 83, 85, 137, 142, 143, 144, 147, 149 and 153 and enter Greater Noida through Knowledge Park-II and cross Pari Chowk and sectors Alpha-1 and 2 and terminate at Knowledge Park-IV. a total of 22 stations are planned.

As far as i know Haryana Urban Development Authority, the RMGSL signed the concession agreement in January and the project is being implemented on public-private-partnership basis.

No as per the authority the promoter of the project, said they will complete the contract and work on the phase-2 within May 2013 itself. So i dnt think there will be too much of hamper.

The phase-2 will connect Sikandarpur with Sector 55-56, a seven-kilometer route with six stations. The work on the phase-2 will start very soon.

The Rapid Metro Rail Gurgaon South Limited (RMGSL), the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) is formed for taking of the phase 2 project, has signed the loan arrangement with a consortium of three banks.
