A survey is being conducted by NDMA and the municipal corporation of buildings in the trans-Yamuna area in 2011 after the Lalita Park building collapse incident. That s the reason this is taken so seriously

The areas are Lalita Park, Gandhi Nagar, Kondli, Lal Kuan and Fatehpur Beri, where the retrofitting work will be starting.

In a survey done by Central Building Research Institute, it is found out that around 70 percent of buildings were unsafe on Yamuna flood plains and it has become the most important task for the DDA to reconstruct the dangerous or unsafe buildings in the city.
