Yes...Now, Aadhaar-LPG subsidy linkage will also be applicable in eight more districts of the state. Residents of Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Krishna, Guntur, Kurnool, Kadapa, Nalgonda and Adilabad districts will have to procure Aadhaar cards to avail LPG subsidy. They have to submit Aadhaar cards to gas agencies by July, 1 ,2013.

Yes LPG consumers who fail to procure Aadhaar card number will have to pay full and unsubsidized cost of the cylinder. The cost of LGP cylinder for domestic purpose is Rs 1,020 and the subsidy component is Rs 600.

The deadline for linking Aadhaar card with LPG cylinders in Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts has been extended to May 15, 2013.
