Heard that University of Hyderabad campus has once again thrown up rumours of secret transfer of 20 acres of land worth Rs 600 crore to a private housing group in violation of rules and without the required clearance from the executive council.

The Telangana NGO (TNGO) Mutually Aided Cooperative Housing Society was seeking land to construct a road connecting the society's colony, located near to the university, to the main road through a two kilometre stretch of the campus land.
