According to the news the department just started collecting the approvals and working towards the procedure to take clearances from the Environment Department under special clauses.

Almost around 159 unauthorized colonies,are located in fores land and it is situated on the southern part of Delhi. The news is true..but the news is they will get all the facilities like water , electricity and roads. The basic facilities will be provided to them.

Oh ! thats nice, but why then they have kept it illegal... why cant they make it legal..

Till now the story was different, now the Urban Development (UD) Department,
Delhi government, has found a way to carry developmental work in the
colonies situated on forest land, which was hanging under several
objections by the Environment Department for a long time. Hence they will do the development work first then will think about legalizing..
