I need to add that around 4,012 cases regarding reference under Section 18 of Land Acquisition
Act for enhancement of payment to landowners are pending before the 11
land acquisition collectors. In some of the cases the award was passed
in 1969-70,

For the delay, the land acquisition collectors have claimed they are short of staff as the work force is busy taking possession of vacant land of DDA as directed by HC in a case which the court is monitoring.

My frnd when the economy is already facing so much issue , do you think government will solve anything now??There are around 4,000 cases are pending before various revenue courts in the capital,
relating to payment of compensation to landowners for their acquired
land.So you can understand how serious Government is !!

Hmmm you can take a grace period of 40 years!! hence if 40 years could not make a different how come new election will even effect . The only effected people are the land owners!!
