Kolkata Housing Survey

Q: Dear residents of Charluata Villa

My name is Dr. Pablo Shiladitya Bose and I am a professor at the University of Vermont in the US. I am writing to ask whether you would participate in an online survey of the experience of residents in new housing developments in Kolkata. I study urban development in Kolkata. I've spent quite a bit of time returning for fieldwork, initially interested in housing developments around Rajarhat and the Wetlands and the rise of buildings within the city and housing complexes in Howrah. While I've spent a great deal of time speaking with developers, urban planners, and politicians, I've begun to interview and survey residents themselves in recent years.
