Q: Hi i heard there is an update about the rapid metro?? Kindly brief me with the news!

One more update frnds , i want to give you is that all the stations are functional, except station 4. Internal testing and oscillation trials are on 24x7 and they are waiting for CMRS.

How can we forget guys about the big news of line and destination issues? Another hurdle was connectivity between stations 4 and 5 station 4 on the NH8 Gateway Tower, the entrance to Gurgaon's Cyber City, took the longest time and is still in the process of construction. The service lane of the NH8 could not be blocked completely as the traffic flow towards Cyber City was dense....

But guys any clue why the rapid metro was delayed so much??it got all the clearance right then what was the issue?

I can speak about on issue that is that the line faced was legal wrangling over the 'green belt' at the National Media Center, which is near station 5 of the Rapid Metro in DLF City Phase III. So to get the approvals the was a tough job. Hence the delay was caused!

Yes Mr Mathur after crossing many deadline at-last India's first privately run Rapid Metro project in Gurgaon is ready to roll and expected to solve high traffic congestion and legal wrangling over a piece of land were the main obstacles that led to the initial delays.

Nah! the project stands completed and is awaiting safety clearance.According to the officials, the 5.5-km loop of the Rapid Metro with an estimated footfall of over 1 lakh is scheduled to open to public in January.
