@Supratim and Vivek : The inception of the metro will impact the entire city so in terms of real estate the eastern parts of the city will get a facelift. Also the localities in West Hyderabad such as Hitech City, Gachibowli and Madhapur are already witnessing healthy real estate activity, the eastern side will benefit more as the connectivity is also rise.

@Lewin : Some of the localities in East Hyderabad such as LB Nagar and Uppal haa already rised to about 7-12 per cent in both capital and rental values.

The Projects within a radius of 5km of a metro station will fetch higher capital and rental values and once the metro commences the property rates will shoot up by 20-30 per cent.

This will have a huge impact in Hyderabad real estate market. The property rates will go high..I thin those who are planning for investment should buy the property now..as this is the right time :)

Property rates will be appreciated by 20-30 per cent once the metro come and investing in the city’s eastern localities such as Uppal and LB Nagar would fetch maximum returns.

I think after the completion of Outer Ring Road and the PV Narasimha Rao Elevated Expre¬ssway.. metro is the next big thing which is going to happen to Hyderabad. So the real estate sector of Hyderabad is all set to get a shot up. The expansive corridor of Hyderabad Metro Rail measures about 71.16 km and it will consist of 66 stations.
