Hey Dude, I think Panvel is the best option available right now to invest in a property. Since the prices of the land are relatively cheap and affordable when compared with other localities like Vashi, Kharghar and SeaWoods Panvel is the best choice to buy/invest in a property. The present price that is prevailing in Panvel is Rs. 4312 per sqft. The properties have registered an appreciation of 7.31% in last 12 months which is a good sign.
Hi Sirji, There is no power or water crisis as such in this locality. The area receives 24 hrs power and water without any interruptions. When compared to other localities, Panvel is considered to be the safest place to reside. Though there are some minor incidents of crime that have taken place , no major incidents of crime or robbery has been reported from this locality in recent times due to constant vigil being kept by the local police. Hats Off to Mumbai police for doing such wonderful act. Kudos.

Not only that Panvel being just adjacent to proposed international airport. A Reliance SEZ is also coming up in the vicinity. It has no of many reputed schools, hospitals, colleges to meet the needs of its residents. There are many autos available in Panvel to travel within the locality. Panvel also has 2 main bus stands and buses are available to Thane, Kalyan, Dombivili, Badlapur, Dadar and Uran. A/c buses also ply from Panvel to Thane and Vashi at frequent intervals. The roads in Panvel are wider and well maintained as the locality comes under CIDCO.
Hey Sankalp, I have a query which need to be clarified. How good is the transport and civic amenities from Panvel to other places in Navi Mumbai . Are there efficient buses and trains available from this area?? Since I am planning to buy a flat in this locality, want to have some idea about the infrastructure available?? Do let me know about it.
Dear Lalit, The recent developments are taking place in New Panvel which is an extension of Panvel. New Panvel is centrally located on the eastern side of the Mumbai-Bangalore Highway (NH-4) and Mumbai-Pune Expressway. It is also well connected to rest of India by road and rail mode of transport.
