Smart Homes have introduced a new way of life unseen or unheard of hitherto. The convenience and ease that it offers its residents has lead to the creation of a niche market in India for such luxury homes among the affluent class. Smart phones have lent the edge as far as controlling multiple devices in Smart homes are concerned.
I believe that the smart homes market does not seem to be at its peak these days and it might just take some more years to strengthen its hold on the Indian consumers. :)
Guys I heard a interesting thing that majority of those who wanted to buy a smart home were willing to spend up to only 1 crore. In most major cities of the country today, it would definitely take more than a crore to own a smart home.
Hey many people said that smart homes being the next big thing in the real estate industry, but sometimes I am confused people in India are ready for it or not ..:/
Yes Rubiya, mainly because mainly people dont know about the smart homes. Even those who were not really aware about smart homes seemed keen on buying them.
