The areas that may see the regularisation are colonies in Chattarpur, Chattarpur Extension, Gautam Nagar, Palam, Jasola Extension, Zakir Nagar in Okhla, Mahavir Enclave in Dwarka, Panchsheel Vihar (Khirki) village near Malviya Nagar, Dabri Extension, Mahipalpur, Madhu Vihar in east Delhi, Uttam Nagar, Badarpur Border etc...
That is sad as the wait has been long and now it will be another year before any update is to happens.. why cannt they speed up such process rather than stretching indefinitely...
yeah more than 35 lakh people live in illegal colonies in Delhi and were so looking forward to the regularization... now again late..Shiela Dixit Government should have done that before exiting
well the government definitely took credit but it seems they had only started the identification process and this delay means residents cannot get a building plan sanctioned or carry out sale and purchase.
Planned development is also not possible now and developments activities will also be on hold. because of the absence of layout plans that identifies spaces for facilities such as schools, roads and fire stations. They should give development priority and hope the new govt speeds this up..
