DLF to challenge Compat order

Q: Discuss on the news about the DLF being asked to pay a high amount of fine by the Competition Appellate Tribunal (Compat)..

yeah , The owners association is quite happy and satisfied that the fine has been upheld and said that the verdict will restore the balance between the real estate developers and property buyers.

Hmm.... yeah.. i think that the order is fair enough as DLF does enjoy a good monopoly in the market of gurgaon and if the owners association has complaint i am sure that there might be something to it rather tahn it being a vague complaint.

Compat has upheld the CCI order imposing Rs 630 Cr penalty for unfair business practices and DLF plans to challenge this order in the Supreme Court..

Yeah in 2011, the Competition Commission of India had found that the real estate company violating fair trade norms and imposed a fine after the Belaire Owners' Association in Gurgaon complaint against it.
