SC knocking door of centre over delay in Adani SEZ

Q: Hi, have you heard the news about the Adani SEZ delay? SC is knocking the door of center for not completing the process of invironment clearence.

Hi Pranab,
Even the SC gave last chance to the MOEF to do so and also made the secretary and the director “personally responsible” for any further delay.

@Saran,
It had earlier on May 2 asked the ministry to complete the process of environment clearance within eight weeks and the same expired a fortnight ago. Now the SC has to take the necessary steps against them.

I think this time they will take the matter seriously to grant one final opportunity to complete the process of environmental clearance within eight weeks from now.

Yah,
I heard the news that SC is pulling the Center for not completing the process of environment clearence to the Adani Group's Mundra Ports and Special Economic Zone in Gujarat.
