Bad roads in Banjara hills

Q: I’ll be moving to Banjara Hills soon. I’ve heard that its a very posh locality, but I also found out that there have been some civic problems here, especially regarding bad roads. Is there really some problem guys? Anything I need to know before I move in?

Well,
What I think is the biggest threat here, is that this whole thing is like a massive breeding ground for all different kind of pests. The fence only covers half the drain and someone can easily stumble and fall into the unfinished part of it. The authorities are not taking up the responsibilities.

Hi all,
Even the Road no. 10 is causing a lot of problems for us residents here in Banjara Hills because Banjara Hills is one of the poshest neighbourhoods of Hyderabad, and one have to face those same old local problems, bad roads, water logging, garbage issue etc. But see? wherever we go in hyderabad, we’ll be followed by these problems.

Yes my sister also lives in that neighbourhood, and she has complained to me a number of times. The funny thing is that nobody is taking this matter up to the authorities by making a formal complaint. Ive been there myself, and I’ve seen that the road direly needs to be levelled. Its highly unhygienic as the water from the adjoining sewers flow into the street during heavy showers, and people have to walk right through it. If you move in here, and find that this problem still persists, then I urge you to lodge an official complaint at the town planning office.

Yeah, we feel that the road has not been laid properly. A part of it sinks down into a trench. And the condition worsens during the rains. The whole stretched gets waterlogged, and you cant see where you are going. Whenever anyone tries walking on this road in this waterlogged condition, they will inevitably get splashed by all incoming vehicles. I don’t know if anything has been done about this issue, but a few days back some authorities had visited this affected area and were taking measurements.

Yeah, you might want to check out the roads where you’re staying. Otherwise its really a nice place, and we don’t face many such issues, but there are few bad roads here, which is causing to be a source of problems for a lot of residents. Especially the Road no. 10 is in a really bad state. I generally avoid taking this road, because it is not well constructed. Its really uneven and badly maintained. A friend of mine was driving on this road and his car got stuck here during the rains and he had to push it out.
