Do you know that 85 flats have been sold out on Snapdeal within a week of putting some of its projects online. Buyers from cities such as Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune bought flats priced between Rs 18 lakh to 70 lakh. They generated over Rs 40 crore in sales via Snapdeal.
@Samrat!!! Tata Value Homes are always on the lookout for categories that help in drawing consumers’ attention and they were pleasantly surprised by the interest this initiative generated.
@Vivek, It is really a good initiative bu Tata Housing. Last month, Snapdeal joined hands with Tata Value Homes to enter into the real estate category. As part of the partnership, about 1000 houses in seven projects, located in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, and Mumbai were put up for sale on the portal. From 1 to 3 BHK, these flats were priced between Rs 18 lakh to 70 lakh.
@Vivek, As per the data, the very first day it generated 1000 registrations which further increased on the second day. In its bid to woo buyers on Snapdeal, Tata Value Homes introduced an offer that is upon possession, customers will get Rs 10000/month for a year as assured rent.
For Tata Housing, it was the first of its kind experience of selling over 50 flats for over Rs 25 crore during the four-day Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) organized by Google last year that make the real estate company take the plunge.
