Also a number of illegal constructions have cropped up in NR Mohalla. Some of these are right on the drains, blocking the sewage flow, which eventually makes them all overflow on to the roads. The MUDA needs to take proper actions in N R Mohalla you know.

Currenly this lake breeds mosquitoes and once monsoon season comes all vector borne diseases will spread like fire. Some 5 crores was allocated just for clearing and maintaining the Devanur Lake and surrounding regions. The former Mayor told us that the project was abandoned due to too much silt being found in the lake.

Devanur Lake right? It has become more than just a dumping area. It is now a definite health hazard. Once the silt and weed start growing, add the garbage dumped, it is a nasty situation. No wonder it has been completely abandoned.

The problem in N R Mohalla is the pollution of the Devanur Lake. The feeder canals to this lake have been all clogged up with garbage, so there is no water inflow anymore. Its a shame because it used to be such a serene location in this place.

Yeah and because you have the Bangalore-Mysore road right nearby, the area has a lot of value. Connectivity is not a problem here at all.

Hey they also have the N R Mohalla park nearby, so they can relax in the evenings or even take a stroll around radio park, which is a little further away. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Hey as far as residential areas are concerned, N R Mohalla is a very nice place. It is calm and quiet, yet close enough to the city centre in case you need anything.
