Hi! As per my view the existing structures greatly contribute to increasing global warming. So it has become necessary to go eco-friendly in architectural sector also. Green buildings are environment friendly and are built using green materials. Commercial green building designs are necessary as they provide benefits like energy efficiency, natural resources conservation, less wastage generation and providing healthier spaces for employees. In fact many architects and builders have already started going green by building eco-friendly buildings. In India many multinational companies too have turned green to save the environment and their employees from harmful effects. Green roofing, Passive homes, are some of the technologies used to turn structure green. Here is more on energy efficient building designs: http://www.ashwinarchitects.com/energy-efficient-commercial-building-design-2
Hi Kajal, In my point of view, builders constructing project in many places of cities are sometimes affecting the environment , residential sectors & corporate world. Choosing a right place & plan according to that place is a hectic lengthy process for builders.
According to me, what does this green building concept will do is simplyfy these problems. Definitely give some solutions which are nature friendly & provide some natural air to breath in these busy days. So atleast we will not think we are staying in concrete jungle.
Green buildings promise well-ventilated working and residential space with three sides-open units and well-planned and landscaped parks along with provision for solar lighting for street lights in offices and grousing-projects in townships. What actually some one need I these busy days at least to feel like living. These things we can get by using this concept.
As per my knowledge, now a days buyers are seeking for Green projects. So many realty majors are ready to fulfil the aspirations of today’s buyers, who are not just looking at price points but are also looking at quality projects that are built using elements of a green project.
In my point of view, now a days NCR is having major infrastructures & transforming in to a promising market with better chance of return as per investment terms. It is becoming the main attraction for both home buyers & investors. People are saying it's developing & some are saying it is developed. What ever it is , this place is improving & giving best chance for both house buyers & investors.
Development authorities like Noida have recently awarded 5% additional floor area ratio (FAR) to a number of developers who are coming up with green buildings. India is emerging as one of the rapid adopters of sustainable building practices with third rank in the latest US Green Building Council report having 11.64 million gross square meters (GSM) of LEED-certified space.
The main objective of green projects is to create energy-efficient, water-efficient, comfortable, healthy, and environmentally friendly buildings and homes. Customers now have the opportunity to own a home in certified green townships, rated under GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) in India.
Yes guys, I heard the news GRIHA attempts to quantify aspects like energy consumption, waste generation, renewable energy adoption, etc, so as to manage, control, and reduce wastage of resources to the best possible extent. Yes, definitely it is a major step to improvise building construction. It's like new era of construction has started.
As per my knowledge, a numbers of realty majors like DLF, Ansal API, Ambience Group, SARE Homes, Chintels, Central Park Gulshan Homes, EMAAR MGF, SVP Group, Cosmic Group, Antriksh, Unnati Fortune, ABA Corp, Earth Infrastructure, etc, have launched green-rated residential and commercial projects in the NCR, especially in Noida-Greater Noida and Gurgaon.
