Hi Akash,
I heard in news that, YEIDA CEO PC Gupta said due to ongoing farmers agitation for the last two years, development works had come to halt. Keeping that in mind, the state government had formed a committee under the chairmanship of cabinet minister Rajender Chowdhary.

@ Akash,
Yes Tusar, from news i got to know that, In the board meeting YEIDA had passed to offer additional compensation to the farmers. Apart from that YEIDA have decided to settle abadi regularization issue. A committee has been formed to settle abadi regularization issue but due to some glitches, the committee couldn't properly take up the issue. Now the government has allowed some changes. Now some committee members can also participate in the committee to speed up the process.

Hi Akash,

As per my knowledge, YEIDA authority had notified and acquired 40 villages in the first phase. And there are some pending issues are with the farmers. Now authority are taking up farmers issues phase-wise. In the first phase they have entertained issues of Raunija and Nilauni Shahpur.

Hi Akash,
I agreed with Mr Raj. As per my knowledge, the farmers in this villages have withdrawn their cases, which were pending in Allahabad High Court. The farmers in written have promised to not to move against YEIDA in court. YEIDA Authority have issued compensation to these farmers.

Hi Akash,

According to me, during this time the authority has managed to settle dispute on 21 acre and 115 acre in Raunija and Nilauni Shahpur villages respectively. Notably, there are some so called farmers leaders are igniting the farmers of several villages, which further lead to disruption of land acquisition and delay in development projects.

Hi Guys,
In my point of view, there are some misleading informations are floating in the market that the authority has to pay, four times compensation to the farmers, however the new land acquisition act will be implemented in those cases in which the authority has acquired after January 1, 2014.

@ Akash,

Speeding the settling of farmers’ issues by Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, along the Yamuna Expressway would come as a boon to the developer’s operating in this area, as the land has already been allotted to 12 townships and five group housing schemes. The developers can go ahead with the construction plan and can deliver timely projects. This is one of the areas which can offer housing and world class infrastructure. The settlement will benefit both the developers as well as the customers.

@ Mr Akash,
The Authority is expecting to start giving possession along the Yamuna Expressway to 21,000 allottees by July next year. The size of the plots ranges from 300 sqm to 4,000 sqm in sectors 18 and 20. The plots were put up for sale in the year 2009.

Hi Mr Akash,
In my point of view the possession of plots faced several delays, however, as farmers from 77 villages, whose lands were acquired, demanded higher compensation. The plots were then priced at Rs 4,750 per sqm and were allotted through a lucky draw.

@ Mr Akash,

Due to farmers unrest, development projects and housing projects of several developers have delayed. With speed up in settling land dispute issues, the real estate players have also heaved a sigh of relief. Yamuna Expressway region in terms of real estate and home aspirants has a good option. If compared to other parts of NCR, this is the only region, which is offering cheap homes with world class infrastructure.
