The government is closely analysing and studying how several city authorities like Singapore Redevelopment Authority, New Delhi Metropolitan Development Authority and Bangalore Metropolitan Region Development Authority went with their land pooling efforts to get a clear of how they can built their new capital city.
I heard that the whole process of capital rebuilding will start off once the winter session of the Andhra Pradesh State Assembly is concluded. Supposedly, in this session they pass the CRDA bill is passed. Once it is done the government will get the consent from the governor and start off with the land pooling.
Also YSR congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy and farmers from his party wing are readying a strong argument to topple the government's attempt at acquistion of lands and pooling in over 29 villages causing more problems to the already problem riddled initiative.
There are many important people supporting different causes of their own like Chandrababu Naidu's former aide and former agricultural minister Shobanadreeswara Rao ispersonally taking upon himself to talk to people of these areas and is promising them that he will make sure the government will only use the amount of lands and not an inch more.
NAPM or National Alliance for People's Movements and Medha Patkar think that while rebuilding is a great thing but as you see these are agriculture intensive areas and the lands are fertile. If the govt. goes ahead with this project. The food security of these areas will be hugely affected.
So Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra babu Naidu has come up with a firm plan to start the rebuilding process. He is set to introduce CRDA or Capital Region Development Authority to which he will be the chair person. Through this CRDA his government will pool lands required for the rebuilding process.
Yes. CM Chandra babu Naidu has alerted his law department to file a caveat with the high court to keep him and his government abreast with the complications that might arise during the process as the courts will oversee the smooth transition of the development of the capital region.
Great. You know the government thinks that several villages and farmers from the areas from where the lands will be pooled are opposing their moves due to backing from different opposing groups like the NAPM backed by activist Medha Patkar.
