Hi Mr Mathur,
As per my knowledge, it is proposed to be an integrated commercial and housing development complex located close to river Yamuna in Mayur Vihar Phase II. The project include shopping centres, hotels, sports clubs, housing and women's hostels and shall be flanked by Metro station. An adventure park is also proposed in the region of Sanjay Lak

@ Mathur,
Like i heard in news, according to the petition, DDA has also announced setting up of three smart sub-cities with 20 lakh flats in Dwarka, Rohini and Narela. It added that constructions near Sanjay Lake region would lead to steep decline in water level.

@ Mr Mathur,

As per my knowledge, a bench of Justice P Jyothimani issued notice to Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF), Ministry of Urban Development, DDA and Central Ground Water Board on a plea seeking a ban on the upcoming project. So we have to wait untill any declaration from court.

Hi All,
According to me, an integrated commercial and housing complex has been proposed close to the Yamuna in Mayur Vihar Phase-II. The project includes shopping centres, hotels, sports clubs, etc. An adventure park is also proposed in the region of Sanjay Lake.

It has sought direction to review and re-assess the scheme of sub-cities in the wake of Delhi master Plan-2021 as it does not permit any construction within the region or catchment area of water bodies.

Hi Mr Mathur,

I heard in news that an environmental activist has filed a plea against Delhi Development Authority's proposed lake city complex near Sanjay Lake in Mayur Vihar. Seeking a ban on any such proposals, petitioner GL Verma has claimed that the project will shrink the catchment area of the lake, which is needed to recharge it.

The National Green Tribunal on January 16 sought the center's views on the issue. A bench of Justice P Jyothimani issued notices to the environment ministry, Urban development ministry, DDA and Central Ground Water Board.
