Hi Guys,
As per sources, Mr Naidu said that for the first time in India, the cities are being selected depend upon competition under an urban development mission. As per Mr Naidu the Prime Minister wants these cities to act as light houses for others to follow in due form for ensuring best quality of urban life.

Hi Guys,
As per the current news, Union Urban Development minister M Venkaiah Naidu said that the Smart City project is a laborious as well as challenging work. It is troublesome however doable. Real Estate Regulation Bill, which has gotten the gesture from the Parliament Select Committee will be proposed to the Cabinet shortly and it could be moved in the following session of Parliament.
Hello, I agree with Nidhi. In fact, there are several real estate developers in Delhi NCR who are building luxurious residential and commercial projects to contribute in the infrastructure development. I recently came across to Unnati Fortune Group, which is one of the leading real estate companies in Delhi NCR and constructing premium residential and commercial projects in Sector 119 and sector 144 of Noida. The projects - 'The Aranya' and 'Unnati World' are equipped with all modern amenities, world class infrastructure and offer great connectivity to Delhi and Gurgaon regions. Such real estate projects help in the infrastructure development and bring lot of optimism back into the real estate sector.
Hello everyone, I believe apart from taking help from foreign countries, Narendra Modi governmnet should initiate actions to indulge real estate companies in India to follow the suit of smart cities. I think India's real estate sector is well capable of building whole cities and towns under the flagship programme of the NDA government. We have so many big real estates companies who can do this work. Instead of making profit for the western countries, why not we let out real estate sector to boom.
As per Jan 28, Economic times: Germany agreed to partner with India in developing three smart cities and a six-member joint committee has been set up in this regard to evolve the way forward including identification of those cities in three months. The committee will have two representatives of the Urban Development Ministry, one from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, and three from Germany. In India this concept of smart city will surely boost up the real estate marketing too. We all are looking forward for the best results by the end of 2015 with so many hopes.
As per news, Dr. Hendricks has invited a delegation from India to the Urban Development Conference in Germany in April. After a discussion on the smart cities initiative, the Minister said the German government was keen on associating with it.
Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's brief, the Centre has decided to dovetail the scheme with the Swachh Bharat Mission and Digital India. Priorities that have been flagged include the need to have clean air, move towards zero waste zones, involve citizens in policy-making and execution, generation of jobs and expanding economic activities.
@ Lohit Raj, According to me, the committee will have two representatives of the Ministry of Urban Development, one from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation and three from the Government of Germany. Interested urban local bodies will be consulted by the Committee before final selection of three. The move comes close on the heels of USA signing three MOUs with the Indian authorities to develop Allahabad, Ajmer and Vishakhapatnam as smart cities.
In my point of view, there will also be an evaluation of how the cities propose to undertake urban projects through retrofitting, refurbishment and new developmentThe details of support and hand-holding to help in the transformation will be discussed as well as the role of private players and citizens. The Centre will also examine the possibility of executing works through a Special Purpose Vehicle through PPP.
