Hi Guys,
Have you heard propelling another mission and policy for housing for all in urban zones, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced that land would be gave free of expense to economically weaker sections, low income groups and slum occupants to develop houses???
Hi Akhilesh,
As per sources,at the time of launching ABAAS Urban Housing Mission and Policy for Housing for All in Urban territories, chief minister said that State Government has chosen to give land free of expense to development of houses. This mission would serve to satisfy the guarantee of assurance and welfare of slum occupants by giving affordable houses along water supply(piped), community hall, electricity, concrete roads & drainage.
@ Akhilesh,
According to news, the State Government has informed that housing for all policy in urban territories for giving empowering framework to usage of affordable housing projects, slum restoration as well as redevelopment projects and to encourage advancement of housing schemes in urban locations, particularly for EWSs and LIGs people.
Hi Guys,
As per the current news, with a perspective to secure the slum occupants, the policy gives definite rules and Standard Operating Procedure to be obeyed while expelling the ghetto occupants for development of houses for them or for development of street or other basic public infrastructure.
This policy outlines institutional instrument for feasible operation and maintenance of the housing projects to guarantee better maintenance of the project location. Honorable CM asked the Housing and Urban Development Department, Odisha State Housing Board, Development Authorities, Municipal Bodies and Private Sector to make successful utilization of this policy to convert dream into reality.
Hi Guys,
As indicated by different sources, earlier the respectable Chief Minister Mr Patnaik has established the foundation for Housing Projects for individuals of economically weaker sections (EWS) as well as slum occupants of Pandara, Chandrasekharpur, Ghatikia as well as Nakhara.
According to news, as indicated by the policy, the government would charge 80% of the pervasive costs of land (bench mark value) to the development authorities at the time of transferring land.Twenty percent will be without given of expense in every project for social housing.
@ Saran,
Houses for the urban poor look feasible if government actualizes the policy in letter and soul. Real Estate Developers Association of Odisha president Pradipta Biswasroy said policy will give enough cash for the fund-starved development authorities. The infrastructure would help the whole real estate market.
As indicated by late news, CDP infrastructure development fund (CIDF) would be utilized for social housing as well as city infrastructure. The developers said the policy doesn't have anything for the white collar middle class home purchasers, who embody 60% of the market.
As per local builder, it is a very suitable policy for economical weaker section people, who can not afford but need a shelter. The more noteworthy auction for sale and open private organization projects in the policy will lift costs. While consideration has been taken for economically weaker sections by making procurement of free land for them, the white collar middle class will bear the price brunt.
Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (Credai) governing council D S Tripathy said the new policy tries to change the lengthy, unverifiable & time taking procedure of land transfer through lease by the general administration as well as revenue department to Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) and other such development authorities through freehold.
Hey Mr Saran, The housing and urban development department advised the policy dedicated CDP (comprehensive development plan) Land and Implementation Policy (CLIP), 2015 on June 2. The procurement in the policy for giving free land to the development authority to develop houses for urban poor is actually an excellent move.
Hey Saran, As per my knowledge, Real estate developers in Bhubaneswar said the new urban land policy cleared by the state bureau on May 30 would first track housing as well as infrastructure projects in the state capital. They, then again, said the policy did not address the worry of middle class home purchasers, who make up 60% of the housing sector.
In my point of view, the policy would look into the land required for housing to statutory authorities like Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), Odisha State Housing Board, and other similar bodies. Land carved out into suitable sizes in capital city for residential, commercial and institutional purposes would be granted through auction to be conducted by BDA.
According to authority, there will be hardly any direct allotment to individuals from the General Administrative Department. The Land Grant Policy was an effort to ensure comprehensive development of the capital city by encouraging orderly growth of residential, commercial, institutional areas and development of essential infrastructure.
@ Santosh, In view of scarcity of government land, there was a need for balancing of interests of different organizations and individuals keeping the public interest in view. So the new Land Grant Policy would go a long way in fulfilling the interest of the state and general public.
I came to know from news that, claiming that the policy will be helpful for development of the capital city, Chief Secretary G C Pati said allotments would be made in favour of BDA (Bhubaneswar Development Authority), BMC (Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation) and cooperative societies.
HI Santosh, As per my knowledge, Odisha government today decided to put all new residential plots in the state capital on auction and stop direct allotment of land to individuals. This was part of the state government's Land Grant Policy, 2015, approved at the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
