Q: Hello everyone, I have read recent reports that there is going to be a Data Analytics Park established in Hyderabad soon. What will the function of this park be?
The Government is taking this very seriously, and as a part of this program, it has identified three sunrise sectors – Data Analytics, Design Engineering and Cyber Security and with NASSCOM’s assistance, some lessons or courses in these subjects would be offered to B.Tech third year engineering students from this year. It will be a pilot project to be launched in selected colleges benefitting around 15,000 students. About 200 teachers will also be trained for this project
As a part of the MoU pedagogy of teaching methodology will be reworked to infuse skills needed in emerging areas in the IT sector. Industry-institution interaction has taken off in Telangana and recently 3,200 students from 17 engineering colleges were run through a training programe, and they are actually planning on doing this further also.
The Government is taking a lot of steps to increase the quality of the students studying in the state. They have already started the incubation center in the city, and are also encouraging the many start ups in the city.,
the Government is keen on improving the skills of engineering students to make them industry-ready in true sense. There recently was an MoU signed between the NASSCOM, JNTU Hyderabad and Telangana Academy for Skills and Knowledge (TASK) to enhance engineering ecosystem in Telangana.
This park is mostly concentrating on the development of the skills among the engineering students of the country. They want to increase the employment rate in the IT sector sector through imparting the requisite skills among students.
Helo Syed, yes the Government has just decided that after the proposal of Indias largest IT park in Hyderabad, they now want to build a new Data Analytics park in the city soon. The plan is still on the papers though right now there is no definite information about this news as of now.
