Hey Kaushik,
The second issue is the handing over of 250 hectares of land by CIDCO to the state forest department not for Pushpak Nagar Land Parcel. For the development of airport, CIDCO has received land affective mangroves spread across 108 hectares and compensation was asked for 250 hectares from the forest department to plant trees.

Yes, i am little bit confused about that.
The process was moving at a snail's pace, as it required the revenue and environment department of the state to work together. The chief secretary met the secretaries of both the departments, and now the process has reached its final stage.

Hey Guy's
After CIDCO managing director Sanjay Bhatia's with PM Narendra Modi with Maharashtra Chief Secretory, it is expected that they have been able to get clearances for most of the issues in the international airport project. As the City & Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) claims that it has received a go ahead from the central government. The town planning body told that 7 out of 8 issues have been resolved.

Good Morning kaushik,
True, even the chief secretory of the state informed the PM that the most crucial project for the state was the airport project, so, it had to be fast tracked. Till now, CIDCO received approvals that had been awaited from the ministries, as well as from CRZ and others. Issues related to CRZ permissions, technical obstacles, land acquisition with the environment ministry, funnel zone, etc had been stuck at the centre for quite some time.

Right Rakshit,
And the two major permission awaited, before the ground work of the project can begin. One is for the height restriction which executed by the civil aviation ministry for the 230-hectare land parcel. Which is expected to be approved soon.

Second one is land parcel of Pushpak Nagar, received by CIDCO from local villagers was restricted for construction by the civil aviation ministry for any kind of construction and permission from the ministry would be required.

But i heard that CIDO had requested the authority to pass construction project that were 53 meters in height. As per CIDCO chief secretory, all this progress has taken place within a week, and they are expecting the remaining issues to be passed soon, as they are up for decision in a few days time.

Airoli is considered the most attractive location in the Navi Mumbai region in terms of physical infrastructure, social infrastructure and development of office space. The areas of Panvel and Taloja are the more affordable locations in the region.

The state government will continue to follow, with the Centre, the transfer of the land of Indu Mill in Mumbai for a grand memorial of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. And the government had given in-principle approval to the plan of purchasing the house in London where Ambedkar had lived during 1921-22.

Hi Hamiska,
At the same time Navi Mumbai holds a distinct advantage as it is a planned and structured satellite city with a cosmopolitan and modern outlook. CIDCO has ensured that there is round-the-clock water and power supply and the physical infrastructure is running smoothly. The social infrastructure in terms of schools, medical and engineering colleges have also added value to the lives of residents in Navi Mumbai.
