Some 500 crore has also been given to the special development fund under the Chief Ministers discertion quota also. The constitution development fund has also been increased to 1.5 crore. It was previously 1 crore.

The top grants in this budget went to the Panchayat and th rural development commitee. They got a grant for around 13, 184 crores. and the next big grant went to irrigation with around 11,734 crore int total.

The Finance minister, again opted for a Rs 1 lakh crore Budget by not announcing new schemes but laid stress on consolidation of existing ones. So right now there are no new taxes or no new schemes.

Last year’s maiden Budget for the 10-month period starting from June 2014 to March 2015, which had been presented to the Legislature in November 2014, was also a Rs 1 lakh crore budget, but the government could hardly spend 60 per cent of it due to time constraints.

Yes, the non tax revenue in the state is said to be around rupees 22, 413 crore rupees. That is actually a pretty huge amount.

Hey, the state even got grants from the Centre Government too. The Centre Government has sanctionted around 12,400 crore for the development in the newly formed state.

The jumbo tax free Budget estimated a revenue surplus of Rs 531 crore, fiscal deficit of Rs 16,968 crore — which is 3.49 per cent of the GSDP, a plan expenditure of Rs 52,383 crore and non-plan expenditure of Rs 63,306 crore.

Hey, this is the budget for the Telangana state for 2015. The Telangana State government presented its first full-fledged Budget to the Legislative Assembly with a total outlay of Rs 1.15 lakh crore with prime focus on welfare of weaker sections, development of industries, agriculture and employment generation.
