Q: Hello. Is the state government planning to construct any new flyovers in or near Jubilee Hills? The traffic is getting hectic and is causing a lot of problems. I have heard in the news about some new bridge or a flyover in here.
The traffic police commissioner has recently asked the GHMC and HMR to clear the material and equipments which were causing inconvenience to citizens and hampering the movement of motorists and pedestrians in these areas.
I have heard that out of the 5 multi level flyover, one is in jubliee hills, and the other will be located in or around Jubilee Hills Check-post, Maitrivanam, Ameerpet and Punjagutta, which also see huge traffic everyday.
To make the commute hassel free in these junction, the traffic police, Hyderabad Metro Rail and Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board and other line departments are coordinating with each other to ensure a free flow of traffic.
If there is any part in the city that needs some traffic control, then it is the jubliee hills area. It the road that most of the people who work in the IT corridor take everyday. I think it is a good idea that the Government is planning to build some flyovers in here.
I have heard that there is already a new bridge that is coming up in the Jubliee hillls area, near the Durgam Cheruvu, Most of the companies are located in this part of the city, and during the peak hours, the traffic is too high.
Hey that wiont be a problem. the multi-level flyover coming at Jubilee Hills check post would not affect the ongoing Metro Rail works and the visit of the line departments to these areas helped sort out some minor problems of the work
Yeah, in many of the junctions around the city, the major cause for the traffic jams in most of the places is due to the metro rail works. many of the roads are dug up and cause a problem for the motorists.
But right now the traffic in and around the jubliee hills area is at its peaks because of the metro rail works that are going on it it place, I think this work of the flyover will only make the trafic worse.
there are encroachments and unauthorised constructions for which action has to be initiated and with regard to multi-level flyover construction, global tenders would be called in the next two weeks.
The officials recently did some inspectiona round that area. After the inspection along with senior officials from other departments, they city the city would have hassle-free traffic flow at 11 key junctions in next two years.
I travel from that route on a daily basis ypp, and I agree with you.. The traffic in here is getting ridiculously high day by day, But I have heard that the Governmentis planning for five multi-level flyovers near KBR Park since six different roads meet at Jubilee Hills check post.
