This would be followed by some 21 days for approvals of the government and gazette publication and another 30 days going into ward-wise and State-wise electoral roll preparation so GHMC has its hands full right now let's see how well they can handle all of the responsibilities.

Looks like the KCR government is out to get as much work done from the GHMC as possible. I mean they would not have been used to this much before. I think the city will grow under his government.

The process included 30 days for amendment to increase and rationalise the wards, 45 days for draft proposal preparation, seven days to call for suggestions and objections from the general public and another 14 days for submission of final proposals.

In a recent submission done by the GHMC to the government, It listed out the required schedule as 147 days for addressing procedural requirements for delimitation of wards and 102 days for reservation of wards for different categories.

Oh. That will take quite a while. The GHMC would need about 249 days to complete the process of delimitation and reservation of wards followed by another 35 days to conduct elections to the civic body so it has some busy times ahead.

Hello, IS there a proper number of days that the GHMC will take for different works?
