The State government is also looking to add 2,300 MW by end of 2015 and reach a comfortable position by 2016 end. I can foresee some of the power issues that the city is facing to decrease by the end of next year.

Yeah, Chief Minister K.Chandrasekar Rao has also told a meeting of CII leaders in the city recently that the top priority is to overcome the deficit. In my opinion that is a nice approach.

I wanted to tell you that TSSPDCL will be the authorised representative of the discoms for implementation of the grid-connected solar PV projects. The PPA will be for a period of 25 years.

Besides the document, the company, on behalf of all discoms in the State, has also uploaded on its website a draft power purchase agreement (PPA) too. That should help smooth out the entire process.

I know that the bidding has been classified into two categories – with a ceiling tariff of Rs.6.45/kWh and Rs.6.32/kWh depending on the capacity and interconnection sub-station. Hope this is what you are looking for.
