Good afternoon Mritunjoy,
What will be their next step? Will they demolish the construction or wait for the court's instruction?
V. Victor

Good afternoon,
Formal action will be taken against the illegal buildings as per the high court's direction, while sufficient protection will be given to the demolition squads. They appeal the residents of these building to provide the names of unscrupulous builders, which will help them in their investigation.

Manoharan Menon, officer on special duty, Cidco said that they have circulated the notice to all the four buildings on Cidco land, asking to vacate their homes by December end. After the court hearing on January 5 and 6, they will begin action against these buildings.

Nothing to say......as they are doing their duty and coordinating with the police. The main culprits are the developers who construct such building without necessary approvals. As far as the civic services. The main aim of forming this committee is to verify if timely action was taken on these illegal structures.
