Good evening friends!!!
Yes the upgraded version is impressive enough to get selected in the fast track round of smart ciites as it rest on a 3-tier strategy such as new packaging, better participation and convergence with government's running projects.

At the same time, LMC has included 3-state government projects like Beautification of Gomti riverfront, metro corridor from Amausi Airport to Munshipulia and restoration of Chhatar Manzil to convert it into a living museum. And this time they are very sure that all the govt. departments will sign MoUs to take care of task assigned to them under the project.

It sounds very good. LMC has pinned hopes of selection in round-2 because of increased people's participation. And i think LMC has been able to engage with almost 35% of city's population on social networking sites and Smart City portals. Now the proposal has to be sent to the Centre before April 21.

Yes, and now the issues like regular garbage collection from houses, encroachment-free colonies and well-connected localities can be reality soon. The features are included in Lucknow Municipal Corporation's (LMC's) upgraded version of ''Smart City''.
