I am a service person and want to take Personal Loan. Can you tell me what are the criteria set by a bank for personal loan? And how much interest i have to pay? This interest should be monthly or annually? Do they levy compound interest? What is the current rate of interest for housing loan?

Hi Sunil,
i will always suggest you to not go for personal loan because its rate of interest in higher. It is somewhere around 11.59% to 13.50% as per January 2017. It also varies from Bank to Bank, loan tenure and the amount taken. Apart from that there ae some hidden charges like one time processing fee which is 0.5% to 1.5%.
